Balls to the wall. Eat whatever you want. I'm pretty sure I could gain 25 lbs easy.
Everything here is so geared toward getting lean or not getting to fat. Especially for the older dudes.

Isn't there a physical limit somewhere? I'm guessing if you eat 10 000 kcals a day you shit out a large percentage.

I do a stone a week every all inclusive holiday. Just got back from one now. 13ibs straight on. Don't think it's possible unless your on a sunlounger all day like I do.

it's not so simple as calories in calories out. your body only digests and stores so much.
i gained 10 lbs in a week, eating all out. if you went by the "3500 calories equals one pound of fat" formula, i should have gained more.

I've reached some kind of digestive homeostasis where I don't gain or lose. I feel like Bill Murray in Groundhog Day, I should just eat donuts. What does it matter?

Gaining water is easy. If carb depleted I could probably put on 20lbs in 24 hours, especially with insulin. :D
I just went from 212 to 225 in a week without even trying. A couple of shots of Humalog a day and more carbs. It was 90% water at least.

Did you ever go on a cruise? In 6 days, eating 6x a day, I gained 10lbs. I also took 2 dumps per day.

:7 days = 5000 kcals on top of your maintenance per day. that would mean more than 7000 kcals a day.

yes, i easily had 15000+ the first 24 hours
i was stuffing myself like crazy and felt like utter shit

Easily I can put away 5000 calories a day. It's not hard when you eating caloric rich foods. My breakfast day on holiday.
8am 2 fried eggs, 2 sausage, 4 bacon, mushrooms, baked beans,two toast with butter, coffee and then a donut.
10.30 pool bar club sandwich with fries
13.00 pool bar burger special (double bacon cheese onion rings ect)
16.00 hotel meal hog roast ect
20.00 group meal with friends starter, lamb shank,fried potaoes ect, ice cream and waffle dessert.
23.30 greek pork gyros
All that with a large beer every 40 minutes throughout the day.

Yeah, it's not healthy gaining a ton of water quickly, especially if it sets subcutaneously, in your ankles etc. But those water gains are pretty modest for me, had not eaten properly for a long time (once or twice a day) so I just regained my "normal" weight so to speak. The insulin maybe accounted for a couple of those pounds. Gaining 30lbs in week after a contest after using diuretics, getting pitting edema etc, that's not healthy.
I remember going with a friend to a show and after it was over, the next day, he said he put on 16 kilos in a day! WTF! I didn't see him stepping on the scales and his stomach probably held 10kg of food but that was insane and hardly healthy. :D

I have not been on a cruise, but this is what I am talking about. Only 10 lbs gained?
I am normally fairly carb depleted as I eat low carbs throughout the week then what I want on the weekends. M The water causes significant variation in body weight over a weeks time.

Depends on appetite...Usually the leaner guys are the ones that are able to eat the most and control their hunger the best..That's weird but it's how it works in most cases....Which is why they always worry about staying lean because they've always felt like they've eaten too much...
After a show in 2004 i gained over 15 lbs just getting back to my hotel from the dinner we went to the same night of the show...Looked harder and more veiny than i did on stage believe it or not when i took off my shirt and looked in the in the mirror in the bathroom...Delts looked craziest...Great lighting as well...
It was a great night full of burgers and sodas, chicken fingers, filet mignon, french fries, rice, calamari, chocolate moose, hot fudge brownie sunday and some buttery mashed potatoes :)

I depleted for a powerlifting comp to 109kg to weigh in and was 118kg a week later, that's 20lbs

bad case of pancreatitis only 10 percent of his pancreas survived. actually lost 95 lbs in one week no bs.

I wouldn't say that the vag diet is unknown, it's just hard to bulk on nothing but vag. Plus, your tongue gets tired quickly.
