yup, I know I have a longgggggggggggg way to go, but from 52 days ago, Im pleased. And Im not quitting til I get there. At 50 years old and 275 pounds, Im fine with how I look.

nono its old,.....it was in hmmmmmm 2006, November I believe. I was 40 at the time. I came out and went for the shoot cause he was like 6 foot 4 and kinda large, I couldnt reach his face with a punch lol. When I shot in he kneed me in the forehead. Then he got me all octopused up and was hitting me in the noggin, but those gloves are so soft I was just kind of looking around. The ref stopped it cause I wasnt really defending myself. That was fine with me. I'd hop in the cage in a snap second again if given the opportunity.
oh and thanks for the compliment--ya i get guessed around 235-245--Id loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee to weigh that

The spike in energy is pretty dramatic the lighter you get. When I'm heavier I just want to sit and do nothing but as soon as I start dieting and leaning up, I can't sit still. I just want to do things, seem happier, more energetic and just better well being.

I could be wrong but I'm usually very good at guessing weight....The only way you could weigh that much is if you have a massive gut that's being held in by some type of compression shirt. Or maybe you have a lifting belt cinched up under the T-shirt.

damn near everything about me is done, but I am autistic when it comes to bodyweight. somebody will enter my gym for the first time ever and talk about wanting to gain weight. even if they are in a jacket I will say 'right now you are 216? they will say i'm close but off about 4 lbs. I tell them to get on the scale and they will be the exact number I said 9 times out of ten. I don't know how I do it, I dont' actually try to calculate or estimate, a number just pops into my head and it is almost always right on

Maybe working in a Circus guessing body weight might be more interesting than owning a gym and dealing with the usual questions, etc.?

just one word of advice: i don't think you need a "high intensity" program, and i don't think you should try to rush things. be patient and try to reach your goal through means that you can sustain for the rest of your life. no need to go "biggest loser" style, burn out, and gain weight again.
and besides, progress is the fun part... why not savor the progress -- stretch it out.

hey never you are right i had ballononed up to 250= getting down to 170 was not easy i did this on low calorie dieting and a ton of cardio
there were times i never thought i would get below 190
heres the thing the older you get the harder it is to lose weight in my 20's i could just do low carb dieting and lift weight and like magic the weight came off.
well when i hit my mid 30's that changed, i am not delusional i know i have to do cardio and eat low calories to keep the weight off.
