let me add something...

with proper form..
ie squats to or below parralel.. as anybody can load a bar and move it 6 inches...
and also bench press all the way up and down..
...
good total.... diesel...
care to split that total so we know what each lift would yield

I haven't squated in a while but..

This is what I can probably do:

bench: 350 pds
deadlift: 450 pds
squat: 450? pds

total of 1250... not too shabby for a natty!

I've got $10,000 that says Alexxx doesn't bench 350 pounds or deadlift 450.

Sounds good come to my gym!

You're still located on the corner of Fantasy Lane and Bullshit Blvd, right?

Nothing special, but in all honesty, I rarely see guys in the gym going up to the 120s on the dumbbell bench presses or over three plates on deadlifts and squats.  And given what everyone around here says they do and people in their gym do, I'm led to believe I live in a very weak city (population: 100,000+).

Same thing for me, we must be weak in my city

I 2nd that. I don't believe for one second that guy can bench 350lbs.

I don't really know, since I've never done squats and I only did deadlifts for about two months. My best bench is slightly under 400. I would guess maybe 1700 with two years of dedicated training on the powerlifts.

The Burden of Proof is on YOU jackass. YOU made the claim you could benchpress 350lbs now back it up. Post a video of you bench pressing 350lbs.

in the gym i've gotten around 600 on squat and dl, and i currently can probably bench over 350, so i figure if everything's a little lower than my gym max, i'd get around 1500.

At a body weight of 165 I'd total 1200-1300.
Bench 355
Squat 550
Deadlift 405

Bench 350

Squat 405

Dead no idea when I used to dead I could get 385 for six no straps so I guess maybe around 425

Im not to strong though

Dunno to be honest never did singles or tried for them intentialy, any how what ever I say I would have the shit bagged out of me over it , so why bother, but it is good to see some serious good poundages being moved , never felt I had worked out or done any thing worthy unless I was lifting heavy !!!

Is a 1500 total considered good for someone in the 185 pound class?

So true.

Projected totals based on my latest purchase of the full muscletech range and assuming 1056% synergism*

Bench - 565
squat - 430
deadlift - 450

*Results not typical.

My total is
1279
374 bench
405 squat to paralell i have sqautted heavier but not to parallel.. so i dont count that
500 deadlift
but to note these lifts i do during my workout... as in i go in bench i bench
135 for 25
225 for 15
315 for 10
350 for 6 forced reps after first 3 by myself
then i push 374 for 1
ive never gone in the gym cold.. and just pressed or pulled for a one rep max

I think with powerlifting gear, wraps & stuff I could total maybe in the low to mid-1300's right now.  But I rarely if ever do 1RM's in the gym.

My best ever gym lifts (don't laugh):

Bench 295
Squat 455
Deadlift 565

From the discrepancy between my bench and DL you can probably guess that I have long arms, and you would be correct.

Those are official meet numbers. My gym lifts really arent that impressive. When I powerlift I follow Westside barbell methods so I use many different movements like board presses for benching, cambered bar banches, benches with chains, squats with bands and chains. Most of my lifts came because of doing lots of good mornings.

Here are some gym lifts I have done.Nothing great but Im training for powerlifting.I have done seated db presses with 150lbs for 8.Incline benched 475.Db incline benched 180s for 11 or 12[really 11.5 got help on the 12th].deadlifted 700 off a three inch block with no belt.700 pound good morning using a buffalo bar[cambered bar for squatting].Bent rows with 555 for 5 with no belt[these are done with a jerking motion just trying to get the bar moving lots of momentum].bb extensions with 275X3[very poor form though].

When I switch to bodybuilding Im usually just getting done with a power meet so Im at my biggest and strongest.I have squatted 495 for 27 reps in a belt and wraps and did 585 for 11 in belt and wraps.[these were about at parrallel, some broke some were a bit high]I also benched 405X17 three years ago and then blew off my shoulder on the 18th rep.

Let me say this about strength training. There are MANY MANY guys MUCH!!!!!!STRONGER then me.In fact, guys like Ronnie Coleman and Johnny Jackson and Branch Warren are all probably stronger, they just dont train for that type of lifting. So,Im not posting these numbers to show off, because in reality Im just a guppy in terms of strength.Christ we have two guys now pulling 970 pounds.Thats strong!!Im a slightly above powerlifter and a slightly below average bodybuilder.I have many guys in my gym just as strong as me,one guy pulls 821 another squats 1008 and another just benched 800.So,although I have the biggest total in the state of CT. Im not even the best at any one lift and the CT scene for powerlifting SUCKS!!So Im like the smartest guy on the short buss I guess.

i agree with the guy who says ur doing them wrong. they never hurt my back and i do them 3x a week. also they get sore and tight the next day but never sharp pain etc. never had a problem. think since starting doing squats its really beginning to climb.

When i have been on a 1700 pound total is realistic but with a 10ply suit where you have to be carried to the bench, i wonder.
Natural pathetic 900 pounds at best.
