just put in an order for sust and deca and i'm trying to put together a plan on how to run them
i was running sust only @ 875 mg per week and i've got about 4 options in mind
1. sust 700/deca 560
2. sust 350/deca 560
3. sust 700/deca 280
4. sust 350/deca 280
and i'm heavily leaning toward option 2 ie. a lower test dose and a higher anabolic dose, any thought/opinions on that?
it seems that the vast majority recommend running deca anywhere btw 200-600 per week

Like gh15 said I find sex drive is negatively affected with lower test higher anabolics. Can still get it up sufficiently, cum, etc. without viagra/cialis but feeling is not the same as compared to when the test is higher. But lower test has less sides

nah i think deca is worse tbh. I only use it because it has less cosmetic sides. But internally its implicated in heart enlargement, shown to damage arteries 11x more than testosterone etc. IMO you should blast with NPP so its in and out of your system faster

i keep reading about deca's supposed immune system building abilities with aids patients so that makes it sound more healthy, it also supposedly lowers HDL
and if it is more anabolic and a better lean mass builder than test then it makes sense to run it higher to take advantage of that

actually there are maybe 10 different pages that say this, and they aren't from the same source so it seems to have some merit, unless they are all incohoots with each other :-\
i found another one which was a clinical study and it said that 100 mg of deca added more lean tissue than 100 mg of test (hence it's more anabolic/muscle building) but once they dosed it @ 300 mg of each the test added more lean tissue

yeah i think ive seen studies comparing deca to test and i think up to 600mg or as you say 300mg one of them was more potent but after that the other one became more potent lean mass wise
i cant remember which one was "better" though lol, i think the study was on ergo log.
the immune boosting thing is bullshit imo... aids patients suffer from muscle atrophy. basically low dosing steroids helps them not to lose as much muscle (without significant sides), which in turn makes them "healthier".
muscle wasting is a disease which can be treated with AAS (or GH), but deca is far from an "immune system booster" or "healthy"

makes sense, if it boosted the immune system on the normal average guy then we'd be on to something
but what about the claim that it lowers HDL? imho roids fuck your heart more than your liver, even orals (liver damage from orals is vastly over-rated imo, but heart risks sure as hell ain't, and they are at risk on injects and orals)

Dude doesn't that scare you to have your hdl so low? Do you worry about heart problems when your cholesterol is that bad? I'm not trying to be rude im just curious because you seem not to be worried about your cholesterol. Does your total cholesterol ever get really high?

nah, my LDL is pretty low too.. after reading into the whole cholesterol debate extensively im fairly convinced that an out of whack cholesterol ratio only poses a threat to your cardiovascular system if other factors are screwed too: blood pressure, blood glucose levels, insulin sensitivity, systemic inflammation, triglycerides
they all work "synergistically" with regards to cardiovascular disease... HDL is the only number thats out of whack for me (i admit, my blood pressure is on the high side, but not dangerously high)

i am delusional in this sense that i try and tell myself that i'm taking roids partly for health benefits LOL
but some are more harmful than others (and this is true even you factor in the correct effective dose for each compound)
supposedly the "healthiest" effective cycle, ie, one that can give you steady gains, is 500 mg primo and 300 mg deca, or is it 50 mg drol ed and 350 mg tren ace :D :D :D

You can live through a heart attack still suffer. Steroid use will not end good.

so on heavy blasts im borderline hypertensive but nothing exactly dangerous... i think 150-160/90+ and upwards is where an increased risk for the cardiovascular system is definite

Just my opinion, I ran deca higher, never had any issues or sides. Gained good lbm
But higher test, looked much bigger, looked like a body builder
My next round is 450 deca, 300 test, 50 var... I think that's a great hair friendly cycle

I've done this a few times & EVERY time I ran more Deca than Test, I had drive & depression issues.
IMO, you need a 2 to 1 ratio of Test to Deca not have these issues.
For me, a 2 to 1 androgen to anabolic ratio works best for a cycle.

Take 12-15g chitosan daily for ldl. Mine dropped by 39 points in 4 weeks supplementing with it. Changed nothing else in my routine except that. It went from 146 to 107 in that timeframe. For hdl a quality fish oil(Carlsons for me) does wonders. Mine stays in the 60-70 range with the fish oil. I really don't eat super clean btw, but I do 30 minutes of cardio 5-6 days a week after lifting for general health.

of course my training wasn't as good as it is now, so that could be why, or under-dosed bunk gear

and, i'd like to keep my runs not so high dose, not much more than 1 gram total per week

my LDL is pretty low, around 60 IIRC
i take 10ml of fish oil and have been doing so for the past 3 years
without that my HDL would probably be 0 lol
i only started implementing regular LISS a couple months ago after my latest bloodwork. also started using niacin a couple months ago, but havent done bloodwork since then
i keep procrastinating with that ::)
