Cheat days like this were common back in the day. Start at 11:59am Saturday and End at 12:00pm Sunday.

This shit is even more ridiculous, check out his carb up prior to the Prague show, 3 days of McDonalds 8 times a day, dude must have eaten 75 plus burgers and fries throughout the coarse of the 3 days, and why the fuck is he carbing up on burgers? The point of carbing up is carbs not fat/protein, at that point the focus should be tons of carbs, minimal protein, needs to hook up with Chad Nichols get him on tons of dates, banana, and apple pie filling.

I actually used this concept when I lost 70+ pounds. The whole point was to just enjoy the flavor going in, because most of it would just become excrement anyway. Cheat days are more for mental health then anything. It just provides another goal to strive for as well.

Wrong. Cheat days are used in order to prevent thyroid from downregulating. Dieting will cause decrease in the production as well as conversion from t4 to t3. Takes about 12-15 days though... Not every week

Your thyroid doesnt downregulate much the whole metabolism slowing down while dieting is pretty irrelevant, i guess it does slows down but not to the point you stop losing weight.
See the starvation experiment from the 40's they kept losing weight for the duration of the experiment (6 months) and all ended up like skeletons. They all got back to normal after.
Cheating is a mental relief and a training boost, the whole T3 thing is just rationalising it.

Finally. And they're amazed they're eating more and dropping bf and muscles start popping out (delts, traps, chest, triceps. Etc...).. Regular people that is. While theydnargued with me for weeks if not monthsnthat if they aTe more they'd get even fatter. Its especially evident with guys whondont have much of an appetite to begin with.

Why do you think that is? That you increased calories and their bodies improved cosmetically.

I also coached a few girls for bikini and figure and had the same thing happen with them. One girl who's a close friend of mine came to me because she was gaining weight without changing diet or training. I told her to eat a burger and fries, she refused, so we settled on lean ground beef and white rice. The next day she was down 2lbs and no bloat. I'm certain this has something to do with hormones. Whether thyroid or estrogen or both (most likely both for women).
An influx in calories definitely stimulates the thyroid, cortisol, and probably a whole bunch of others (I'm not a doctor, so I can only assume).

(Figure 1grams of glucose goes into muscle, then pulls 10grams of water along with) So zero carbs means no carbs to pull and hold water in muscles. Which is why with me personally if I don't eat carbs at all for 3 days, ill drop 15-18lbs. I normally eat 500-700+g carbs per day so cutting carbs causes a huge response.... Then reintroducing carbs along with water, the muscle "reinflates" and holds onto everything that comes in.
I remember "skiploading" back in 2002 and him being one of the first guys to talk about the "fat pump" from carbing up with fatty carbs.. Pizza burgers etc... Andnthen Kamali co-signing the practice/theory.

Did u know that for every 1 g of carbs you consume, your body holds roughly 3 g of water & that breaking down 1 lb into grams is about 454 g? So, if someone consumes, say 200 g of carbs a day, that's about 600 g of water, which can explain the nearly 2 lbs of water weight you gain by the end of the day. This is why low carb diets were popular for a while but don't obsess! Complex carbs provide energy & brain food!!
