If this in fact was a mandate that required vaccine passports to eat, then this level of tyranny deserves violence.

Certainly not desiring a purge-like scenario, but I feel that Americans are now too passive and eagerly allow for their rights to be taken from them at the cost of merely keeping the status quo.
If we can stick to buying shit we don't need, following our favorite influencers on social media, watching "reality" TV and stuffing ourselves with processed foods, then sure, take away our privileges.

I've visited Brazil in the past and those people are interesting.
Everyone makes fun of each other. They love to dance and eat food. They are hypersexual people. The women are super jealous and controlling. The men are super macho and tough. Vanity amongst women is huge.
Given their financial struggles and the large wealth gap between rich and poor, it doesn't surprise me that a violent uproar was staged.

To clarify, my statement was that if this in fact was a mandate that required vaccine passports to eat, then this level of tyranny deserves violence. For instance, if you're not allowed to enter a supermarket or local grocery store to buy food to eat, then yes, violence is warranted.
If restaurants, local gyms and theaters want to enforce this mandate (not a law) in order to comply with what the city government wants and not get fined, that is on them. Now, the moment that they enforce a stricter stance that does not allow people to buy food at local supermarkets or grocery stores without vaccination proof is the moment that crime will take over in NYC. No one will be safe at that point and the local government will be ended. As it stands, most New Yorkers I know despise the way the city is being controlled by the local government. Bill DeBlasio (NYC's most hated mayor in most recent history) is now finished with his term as mayor and we will have another guy in there that doesn't look too sharp, but we will see how he does.
