So far not a millimeter gain, but I only did it 2 times so far. It definitely burns my calves.

I am doing high rep single leg calf raises on a step.

There is no logical reason to expect this to be better than stair machine on balls of feet

No logical reason for your existence either :D

Only pellius grew their calves out of everyone on getbig. A very rare phenomenon.

Have your martial arts skills ever been put to the test? You are delusional in thinking arnis and all similar things are realistic
-

And wasn't it a suspect case of oily looking results?

I voted yes - and of course, they'll only grow proportionally to your potential.
Back problems resulting in abnormal tension in the lower back, hamstrings & hips gave me most of my calf size but it hadn't dawned on me until a few months ago.

I’ve been riding a bike for years now and it really gave my legs a pump and kept them in shape while not doing squats. It didn’t grow my calves any but I did notice what I thought was calves growth when I jumped rope once or twice a week.

I do one set max reps of either seated calf raises or one leg calf raises every workout plus tibialis raises ( I bought one of those tib bar gizmos).
My calves do look better.
I think it's important from a blood circulation standpoint to do calf raises also.
This is the one i bought I think.

Same here. Prob the best thing I’ve even done for my calf’s.

Why single leg?

Why single leg?
Less load on the spine more bang for your buck and both calves get loaded the same weight despite of slight bone length imbalances I would guess

Consistency is important.
3-5 times a week train calves over many months and years.

But if you can't grow them 1 millimeter within the first month of training I expect they can never grow

Give it at least six months of 3-5 times a week every week.
Take a pic of them now flexed and take one in six months.

I am not going to do all that if I don't have 100% assurance it will work (which it wont)

Call Boyer Coe and ask for "the shoes"

It never even occurred to me that he might have oiled his calves and I don't remember anyone saying it either. But obviously I couldn't know.
Regarding single leg raises I've tried it seated as well :D In general I like the seated machine as a therapeutic feeling stretch exercise :D

I did that on stair steppers as well for a while. It's tough on your feet and calves.
I recall reading somewhere, perhaps in his encyclopedia, that Arnold used to work his calves by driving his feet into beach sand and pushing off with his calves. He said after a few hours his calves were blown up like balloons. You can also do this just walking on a sidewalk. You push off with your calves. It takes concentration and I just walk normally now. These things just pump blood into your calves and make you feel like they are bigger.

Skipping is good for calves as a heavier guy.

Yeah I have never been remotely convinced that calves can be grown. It's like cock enlargement. Questionable

Whether you think you can or think you can't, you are right.

One other thing i did hear from a Guy was he told me when he went running he at times during the run went on his toes, indeed some old timers often ran barefoot on a Beach
another good idea is the POF System @ the 10:00 Mark
