A fucking shit show, I had a meeting with him today and the guy is a totally useless bureaucrat, seemingly obsessed with pointless details such as version management of worthless manuals. I can't fucking believe this shit. He said he will take the position in a bit over 2 months from now when my current boss will be gone (due to fucking him over)
So I am thinking there are a few paths forward here:

I am trying to stay positive: we are a pretty big team so if everybody hates him he too will suffer
And also I should make sure any activity that is potentially subject to bureaucracy should be dispersed across the team so its harder on him to get a grip on it
