Nick looks pretty damn healthy there and I'm being serious, put it into perspective. I mean consider the chemical warfare battle scene his body has been for so long LOL. I'm surprised he's even standing. Even his structure looks ok against some of those guys.
I don't really care but I'm still "happy" when he does well because I see him as such an underdog who many absolutely hate LOL. I think of what he looked like at his first show, absolute dogshit who no one could have predicted would win pro shows one day.

Why has it regressed you think? :D
Some blame judging standards, I mostly blame lack of talent pool. Why that is I don't know. Nick mostly didn't juice himself into that structure and gut. Of course the drugs can increase the gut but Nick could not do much to improve his standing other than to get really huge. He would have looked like shit even when smaller, possibly more so. Regarding the gut, Chad Nicholls made a thoughtful observation a couple of decades back that it's worse for those with a short torso.
My point. This is just so insane. Never in a million years would I have thought this possible if I'd seen Nick at his first show.

If there are more deaths today it could be that with the internet we are aware of more. And of course more people use all sorts of chems today. To be clear I'm not at all saying drugs don't carry risks. Using drugs can be done more safely today since we are more informed of specific health risks and healh monitoring for example with blood work is more easily available. As you probably agree with me about back in the day juicers didn't even care about blood pressure. Today "serious" juicers often keep nearly daily tabs on their BP.

Proof of this is that when he stops the gear and lifting he will very quickly look like he did when he started unless he gets fat as fuck.

Nit picking here LOL, same amount number of fibers but the protein content can increase or decrease aka tissue, it's not all water, there's more meat :D I may be way off here but I suspect there might be more happening here that the studies so far haven't quite caught because they haven't had subjects like this ???

If you mean the pros and especially heavyweight pros sure. And everyone is on year round but staying on is not the problem exactly. But if you go back to for example Nasser, it was a ton of shit with zero health monitoring. Nasser was on 10 Anadrols a day and 5 grams of test and tons of other potentially more toxic anabolics like Winstrol. Now it's tons of test and Primo, healthier choices LOL. Like I said I'm surprised Nick Walker is still standing and I have a feeling it has something to do with health monitoring. Of course Nick could keel over today as monitoring doesn't catch everything, far from it. All I'm saying is it's possible to do it in a bit more healthy way today, I'm not at all saying there's not considerable risk 8)
Taking a ton of potentially liver toxic Anadrol and Winstrol and not looking at BP and kidney values, not having heart scans and so on is worse than taking a ton of less toxic test and Primo or Masteron while doing health monitoring. The late 90s and 00s guys really did a number on themselves and we've seen the results, Nasser, Flex, Badell etc. They also did very dangerous diuretic protocols which isn't really that much of a thing anymore from what I can tell. Maybe they looked a bit better because of the diuretics though, skin on stage was thinner LOL.

Exactly my thinking LOL. Back 'in the day' even Bob Chick went to the hospital after a show for dehydration. I don't follow competitive bodybuilding anymore unless someone links here but I haven't really seen much about diuretic disasters in recent years. Anyone else? I do think diuretics are still used like for at the Olympia especially by the old school coaches but maybe they handle them better now. I've been given 40mg of I.V. Lasix a few times and I'm not as scared of it anymore LOL. But they monitor for example potassium levels so there's less risk and I've been given potassium as the levels got too low.
The Olympia conditioning has been pretty bad lately it seems to me. They are all obsessed with 'fullness' now.
