bend your head down a little when doing shrugs? it's the only way i can feel them during hte exercise...

You actually are supposed to bend your chin. It gives you a greater range of motion. Arnold use to do it.

i agree, chin to chest is the best way to get the traps working. i would do whatever to feel a muscle working. so, i wouldn't worry about it. everyone has their take on a movement.
