it was in flex awhile back that he lunged 365lbs at his most intense..is this true or not

Surely there are a lot of strongmen competitors who can do it. I watched svend karlssen's video and I swear he'd be doing it no problem.

No one said that some of the guys and girls arent good - great athletes. Ronnie looked about 220-225 playing LB in college and was probably a strong MF back than. Phil played 1A ball. The muscle they present on stage cant be done without the drugs. The poundage they move in the gym cant be done without the drugs. That's not about genetics. Increasing a cow's size by 50lbs for the slutter house is about Pharma/Chem and so is pro bbing.

have you guys ever seen Coleman's lunges? he barely bends his knees at all, he pretty much just walks with the weight, anyone can do that.

hey branch warren claimed in flex magazine he has done 275lbs lunges..and there is a pic of him doing that also..its not hard to believe that coleman can do 365lbs..

I believe Ronnie could do it. However, what he does, is not a lunge. More of a stride.

In an old issue of FLEX there's a shot of an off-season 300+ lbs. Ronnie lunging with 315...can't say if the plates were fake or not.

Ronnie is strong as shit. I dont know if he would be smart to risk his career with amove like that- even if he would be strong enough to mucel that- doesnt mean your tendons will like it, and your miniscus. That would majorly fuk you up...ouch..

it actually was in one of skip's videos. that's where i saw it. he had like a low block that he stepped off of. i was suprised he did that and decent form - considering his form on some other movements.
it was the video that was out in 2003 i believe.

He also won the Hawaiian Islands in 2001, and placed sixth in the nationals in the superheavys that same year. Long story short, he would do "side lunges" with 315. I have seen it with my own eyes, and most people at "The Gym" Honolulu, Golds Gym Honolulu, and the former Worlds Gym Honolulu (owned by Shane Morioka, not Francois) has seen this. Pretty amazing. Raoul was/is one strong mofo. When I last saw him, he was down on size.

Raoul was defintely very very strong. He did bent over rows with 500+ on t-bar rows like nothing too. I talked to him last year I think. He was living in Venice I think too. I email him every now and then.
Also, did anyone get a weird call from Quincy Taylor today. I did and I just thought about it.

Coleman could do lunges with 365 X 12/15... I'm pretty sure. I know quite a few solid (not great) PF'ers that can do 315 X 10, so I'd think it would be reasonable for Coleman. IMO.
