I still use whey powder too but not religiously. I put a scoop in my shakes because it's still good, just not Godly like the magazines make it out to be.
Helps to make the shakes taste better too. Instead of going through 5lb tubs every couple of weeks, they last me a couple of months now. Some of them taste absolutely phenomenal too, so I wouldn't cut them completely from my diet. I love the way they taste.
