As you all may already know, the City of NY and its metropolitan area (including counties around it) have a bit of a drug issue right now. Most of it is due to marihuana and heroin, although meth is now rearing its ugly head. It's becoming such an issue that drug raids are a weekly thing now. Worst of all, ALL neighbors seem to not notice a thing.
To the point: I've been reading up on how these dealers set up their operations and go about their business and, in doing so, I've realized a house in my neighborhood (I live in a cul de sac) is a huge red flag: The last public sale was in 2012 and it's undergone construction activity for now 7 years, although the visible improvements are minor. There's ALWAYS construction truck traffic going in and out of the property and the "construction workers" always make it a point to not engage the neighbors. Lights are always out during the day (even when it's dark,) on/off in the middle of the night and I've never heard construction work going on in the house. This house is located right next to an entrance to a minor local parkway and about 5 minutes to the center of town.
Although this is suspicious enough, IMO, the most obvious thing is their repetitive habit of asphalting the same stretch of driveway three or four times a year, rendering the surrounding area in a fog of smoke that permeates everything.
What do you guys think? Drug house/meth lab or not?
