Potential drug lab
« on: March 02, 2019, 07:59:16 AM »
As you all may already know, the City of NY and its metropolitan area (including counties around it) have a bit of a drug issue right now. Most of it is due to marihuana and heroin, although meth is now rearing its ugly head. It's becoming such an issue that drug raids are a weekly thing now. Worst of all, ALL neighbors seem to not notice a thing.

To the point: I've been reading up on how these dealers set up their operations and go about their business and, in doing so, I've realized a house in my neighborhood (I live in a cul de sac) is a huge red flag: The last public sale was in 2012 and it's undergone construction activity for now 7 years, although the visible improvements are minor. There's ALWAYS construction truck traffic going in and out of the property and the "construction workers" always make it a point to not engage the neighbors. Lights are always out during the day (even when it's dark,) on/off in the middle of the night and I've never heard construction work going on in the house. This house is located right next to an entrance to a minor local parkway and about 5 minutes to the center of town.

Although this is suspicious enough, IMO, the most obvious thing is their repetitive habit of asphalting the same stretch of driveway three or four times a year, rendering the surrounding area in a fog of smoke that permeates everything.

What do you guys think? Drug house/meth lab or not?

Definitely suspicious and strange.  I saw something on YT today, and I wish I remember what it's title was and the channel.  In short, there is talk apparently that something big is going to happen in NY in the next month regarding MS-13 and cops.  An internal memo for cops was shown about their lives being in serious danger.

Hopefully, it's just paranoia by NY PD fueled by the net.  I'd hate to see people that choose to serve their communities become targets for illegals, and lives lost in a manner that would only prove Trump right.

It shouldn't take that to wake people the fuck up! :'(

Doesn’t sound like a drug lab per se- you can make meth in a kitchen. Unless they are building a state of the art man cave it does raise suspicion. Almost like it’s a human trafficking place or weapons cache. An MS-13 guy recently arrested had a soundproof firing range under his house!

Another possibility is a pot growing operation. Lots of them in basements. The police can easily find out based on power consumption.

Just call the local police- they have tip lines and you can remain anonymous. Otherwise ask to speak to a detective.

Lots of kitchen meth labs have been discovered, so there’s that. And if you have even a bit of chemistry training you can exhaust the fumes through a water driven aspirator. Did this all the time in organic chem lab. Even diethyl ether, acetone, etc can be evacuated safely.

On topic .nothing going on in that house.

If they were up to something the only reason they would have construction vehicles in and out would either be to mask the noise of something, but you say you never actually hear loud construction noise. Or because they are moving such huge quantities of stuff that they need huge vehicles, in which case they'd likely have the money to rent/buy a warehouse, in which such an operation would draw much less attention.

If it was a pot grow or similar they'd be doing everything to  make the house blend in and not stand out.

There are 0 reported deaths from marijuana as it has no lethal toxicity, you cannot overdose and it does not cause violence. How are you including it with heroin?

All drugs should be legal anyway.
