We should do this challenge in 2023, which getbigger can get the most reps with 225?  I’m not sure I could do much more than 12 maybe 15 tops.

Now - probably 0 with the way my knee is post surgery BUT you're right I don't think I would have gotten anywhere near 58. Always hated deadlifts because of my height it just felt so fucking unnatural - not that I'm anything extra tall only 1.83 but just didn't like the movement. Squats I used to love, though.

In all seriousness though, I was in Hawaii and saw Pellius at North shore but didn't approach him. I was on vacation and thought it was funny. He was a big deal at Hilo, in BJ Penn's gym, there was abig pic of him from a tournament. He still had hair back then and was in good shape, juiced for sure... He had the anavar/test/GH lean mean, well oiled machine look going. RIP Pellius

I know all about Faggy Waggy aka Marty CHUMPion...lol straight disgrace that fella. Referring to him as "asshole" would be too kind. I used to talk to his dad all the time at the gym. That man was a legend is every sense of the word. Great shape and stayed in shape. All year round. He used to do cardio for 2 hours straight after lifting at age 65...consistently consistant defines him very well. His son....another story. I think "finding Jesus" definitely helped him sort his life out, a lot. That kind of personality needs a morality framework to keep them focused and productive. Isn't he a teacher or some kind of preacher, now? Beats becoming a drug addled self-destructive type because that's where he was headed. It was religion or feature in one of those "Streets of Philadelphia" YouTube videos. He chose life.
