I liked Eddie until Thor easily took his Deadlift record. Hall was all ver whining, about how it was in his own gym, wasnt in contest, etc.
Most records are done in a "record breaker" setting, like after the Arnold is over.
Heck, Eddie did his own "Coin lift" record in a book-store, but that one counts and not Thor's?

Thor weighed every plate on camera and Magnus Ver was there live to witness and Judge. Eddie seems like one of those whiny excuse makers we all know..

Though his ailment list may not be anywhere near 80...

Personally, I was HAPPY to see the 2017 World's Strongest Man rigged for Eddie to win. I believe Eddie was upwards of 420-lb for a bit there. He's about 6'2.5". Monstrous man, but Eddie himself said he'd be dead in ten years if he stayed that size.

That's why I was happy the contest was rigged for him [favourable events]. It allowed Eddie to win, and give the other guys more of a chance to win the whole show. Eddie then did exactly that.

So it worked out for Eddie's lifespan, and for the WSM title to be up for grabs.

I know what you mean about Eddie throwing his hat in the ring with all these other things - but personally I'm just glad he chose life extension over a more likely early death. Meanwhile, 9x Canada's Strongest Strongest Man Jean-Francois Caron had a brutal quad injury at the 2022 Arnold, but is staging a comeback.  Not everyone wants to make 55, I guess.

I hope Eddie is being smart with his cash though. Ideally, he should bank a few million, live off that, and shrink to sub-300 somewhere.

I take absolutely zero pride in being English so don’t really care if England ever wins anything in any sport, in fact in most I hope they get hammered especially the England football team who I hate with a passion, I just find Eddie a fat loud annoying obnoxious cunt and I’m sick of seeing his fat fucking face appear on everything in an attempt to remain relevant, there was a Video the other day of him driving this tiny car around and driving it into shops ect it was just fucking embarrassing wish someone safe in the knowledge that he wouldn’t be able to get his fat sack of shit body out of it very quick doused it in petrol and set the fucker afire

Anyone can be knocked out.  Hall should have taken him down and put all of that 400lbs on him. He would be tapping in minutes.
