I spoke to Peter about this - this was never his intention at all. There is an agreement with Pro Body Building Weekly and AMI, since they sponser it, that the AMI athletes appear on that show only. It is simple. There is probably an agreement with Muscletech too.
Ron, I bet anything it was his intention all along for this to happen. They see a rival radio station starting up they book the guy they (AMI) wants to win first. Eevrything is olay till the 11th hour then pull the plug and make the new guy look like shit. Typical of them. No two ways about it..
When Peter talked to Larry about it on Tuesday, and they are friends are a very long time, it seemed ok. But then Peter got the word from others that it cannot be done. Peter didn't have Larry's number in Colorado, Larry wasnt there, thus the email.
I thought they were friends. Why don't he have his phone number. They talked before on the phone. When two friends talk they usually have each others phone number. If not one will ask. So this is as bogus an excuse as any you can give. It was planned and it is simple to see that.
I don't agree with it, but unfortunately, it is the same with many organizations out there, from television shows, to actors, to music, to sports. Tre, you are in Los Angeles, you should know this.
Don't know about this one either. Cross promoting on all the networks is very common. Why do you think the Jay Leno show or David Letterman or any talk show has stars from TV programs from all networks. And I have never heard of any actor being restricted to talk to any type of media. The more exposure the better for the show. SAG does not prevent or dictate who or what you can use to promote yourself. That would be countrproductive to the advancement of your career (exactly what is happening here). Race car drivers after a win mention as many sponsors as they can. I have never heard except in BB where a athelte is restricted from promothing themselves or other sponsors. What this show is insecurity and the fact that they are threatened by the new radio station just like the IFBB is of the PDI. I find it amazing that these two are still around and have so much support. It is simple what people can do is simply not listen to ProBodybuildingweekly. It's simple. Listen to the station that seems to be fair and right now is the underdog cause big brother is scared and tightening the ropes. Just don't listen or support them. This other station sounds cool and I like how the owner comes on here immediately to tell it like it is and not hide while McGough hides and says nothing and Heath has said nothing. At least this guy is up front.
