I dont know, this fight excites me more than any other on the card. Henderson is something else at 185, but Vitor is still Vitor. In other words, he still has his punching ability and grappling skills which made him "the Phenom" in the first place. Can he find his old self again? I dont know, but if his last fight is anything to go by this one will be highlight of the night!

IMO its 50/50, im hoping for a Vitor win but Linland proved against Rampage that smaller fighters can just as easily contend against the big boys as they would against guys their own size. Its the 1 fight where i cant see an outright winner

vitors punching skills made him the phenom and hes not what he used to be. henderson by decision, after the first 3 minutes the fight will be boring as fuck.

Henderson by TKO in round 3. Vitor hasn't been the Vitor of "old" in a while. Vitor hasn't shown gas in the tank in longer fights. Greco guys from Oregon based MMA teams seem to do well against him (unless that wrestler gets a cut over an eye).

Hendo hasn't looked to good in his last few fights (decision Dan), and that's because those fights were against 183lb fighters. Belfort also has been pretty shitty, but I think if he got a good solid camp in for this fight he should win it.

Vitor by decision. It could go either way, though. Hendo is overrated.

blue print on belfort:

avoid striking with him unless you have very good defence and keep your chin down. he is still a very dangerous puncher with better boxing skills than most, but he has slowed down a lot and won't be that hard to avoid especially with effective takedown and grappling skills to wear him down even further.

basically, spoil him and take him deep where he will drown.

belfort's mind isn't seriously in the game and hasn't been for a long time despite what he says. what he actually DOES shows that he hasn't got the ticker to go deep anymore and he's purely in it for the money and fame.

Decision Dan at it again, I just hope he is ready for the winner of the WW Grand Prix (probably Kang or Filho). I don't like his chances against either.

Actually, I haven't been on Getbig that much in the last 2 days. I think he's overrated because he eeks out decisions and gets more gift decisions than any fighter I've ever seen. Don't flatter yourself Earl, unlike you, whose life revolves around my actions on Getbig, I could give a flying fuck as to your opinion.

i cant believe Vitor, he has the tools to be the best but he doesnt have the heart. He should be in his prime right now, knocking out ranked fighters left right and centre but hes only there for the money now. How the mighty have fallen, its a shame what happened to hs sister and it has taken an obvious toll on him. He shouldnt be in the game with his current mind set

how the mighty have fallen? when was he ever mighty and i'm sick of hearing the lame excuse about his sister he's not the only fighter that lost a family member

Im gonna have to disagree with you on this one Earl. He wasnt touted as the Phenom for nothing, watch his early fights. Until Randy beat him he was looked at as unbeatable, his KO of Wandy is still one of the best KO's you'll ever see. Peoples opinions vary on absolutely everything, but the general concensus about Vitor is that he peaked in his early 20's and could very well be a champion in any organisation. His punching ability - hand speed, accuracy, power - is unquestionable and he has a black belt in BJJ.

Yes its been 3 years, but something like that can take your heart out of the game for good. Hes not the fighter he was 3-4 years ago, not even a shadow of what he used to be. And losing a family member is bad enough without having one kidnapped, probably repeatedly raped by numerous people and then murdered.

Vitor actually looked good in his fight against Tito, he was motivated, he trained with BTT and the Nog's, and he got a good two month camp in. If that Vitor came into this fight he would have won easily. The thing with Vitor is, you find yourself wondering what Vitor will show up, in this case the Vitor with no heart showed up (the one we are all used to seeing as of late). He didn't seem motivated, and he did'nt get much of a good camp together and it showed. As much as I would hate to admit it, his days as a contender are over. Sure, don't get me wrong he will still get a win here and there, but as far as him actually consistently beating top competition goes, it ain't happening.

I still say he was always overrated and that wandy knockout was on par with buster douglas

I think he got the phenom name jsut becuase he was so young to be fighting mma not because of some out of this world talent. When you have success at a young age people expect alot from you and he just wasn't good enough to live up to the expectations. Classic early bloomer.
