308`s are pretty to look at, but perform like a Garbage truck.

Any new car can outperform it which is a disgrace, however, the marquee is unbeatable.

MORE miles on a Ferrari or sports car is actually better.

Shows that it has been well mantained and regularly used.

The less miles on a sports car and the more time it sits, the worse it gets.  I see brand new Ferraris all the time with so many problems due to non-use.  Its a shame really.

More miles is usually better.

My point was not that it has not been maintained.  it is clearly still in good condition.  my point was the price for the miles.  there are other 308s with less miles for a similar price.  25,000 for a 21 year old car with 85,000 miles is a bit overpriced.

Seriously,

If you are looking for a used exotic, go for one with more miles and a complete maintenance history over a garage queen.

The ones that sit for years and only have a few thousand miles will run like garbage, rest assured.  I have never seen a Ferrari with high miles and complete maintenance perfom like it wasn`t brand new.

The low mileage ones will get out there and die.   You should only be concerned with mileage if you poorly mantain a car or plan to resell it to someone who thinks mileage matters.
