The general idea among most Judeo-Christian religious types is that Jews will be first to be taken to heaven at the onset of Armageddon.  Even without accepting Jesus.  Granted any Jew who is a serious sinner and persecutes anyone, Jesus or not, will probably go to hell (according to most).

A lot of evagelicals are decieving in that they claim to support the Jewish people and thier return to Zion but when actually confronted with a Jew they instantly feel that they have to try and convert them.  They even start in with the "even though you're Jewish, unless you accept Jesus as your savior, you will still go to hell."  It certainly doesn't say this in the bible but these people will interpret it any way the feel like.  This arguement is purely a poor attempt to convert one of the hardest religions to convert.

I can't stand evangelicals.

I don't take any testament literally although the lessons learned and stories are valueable.
