sumo wrestlers actually use their weight in their advantage..they come with alot of fury and its really hard to handle them..none of the mma fighters can beat a pro sumo wrestler

Well, no MMA fighter can beat a pro sumo at sumo. A world class pro HW MMA fighter will not be beaten by a sumo in MMA.

A pro bodybuilder will be beaten by any sumo in MMA and sumo.....but at least the sumo wrestler won't beat any pro bodybuilder in bodybuilding

I think you have no clue how talented the fighters in the UFC and PRIDE are at fighting. Go watch Fedor versus Zuluzinho at PRIDE Shockwave or Big Nog against him in the OWGP first round.

Very true statment.  Sumo wrestlers are unreal strong and agile for their size.  In a sumo match they would kill any MMA fighter.  That is why they sumo. But in a MMA fight they would get destroyed. Happend in the very first UFC fight ever, that big black guy Yarbourough or whatever his name and Chad (Akebono) gets killed everytime.  Just too slow.  Chad though should have never stepped in the ring cause his knees are so bad.

IMO, Asashoryu Akinori will most likely surpass all his feats.

Asashoryu is one of the greatest athletes in the world IMO, perhaps the greatest.

Chad was a stud athlete in Hawaii prior to going to Japan to do Sumo.  IN SUMO, a Sumotori would kill an MMA athlete.  In MMA or all out fighting, an MMA athlete would DESTROY a sumotori.  You can use Akebono as the analogy.  He is getting beat by guys half his size, but like Keith said, if he didn't need the money, he shouldn't have and wouldn't have done it.  Anyone who thinks otherwise is smoking crack.
