Yes, mission control and Neil Armstrong had a realtime conversation despite the 1969 radio technology, 250k miles of distance between them, and the fact that radio signals only travel 186k mps.

For those science types, there should have been at the very least a 1.35 second delay between transmitting and receiving each statement.  yet these cats were just chatting it up like two guys in a bar.  Finishing sentences for each other, joking, zero awkwardness and certainly not a 1.35 second delay (plus mechanical delay - back then you had a 2-3 second delay speaking from NY to London, it was 1969).



But hey, who needs science when you have cool words like 'conspiracy theorist'?  Carry on!

You simply can't judge someone by offseason pics. I think Cook had great potential, aswell as King - still does. Capriese has some flaws, who doesn't, but his X-frame is unbelievable. Shame they both left.
