BOULDER — Police on Tuesday afternoon arrested one of two men sought in the Monday night shooting death of Boulder bodybuilder and business owner Octavio Sergio Libman.

Alfred Gusman III, 26, of Denver was arrested in Denver, at his home on the 11100 block of Dartmouth on suspicion of aggravated robbery and two counts of murder.

Police are still looking for a man who they believe pulled the trigger at about 9 p.m. Monday night in east Boulder.

Boulder Police Chief Mark Beckner said Libman met the men after they responded to an Internet ad he placed to sell his 2003 Porsche.

After an altercation in front of Libman’s roofing business office and residence at 3200 Carbon Place, one of the men shot Libman in the chest and the two men fled in the Porsche, according to reports. Police found the car about two hours later in north Boulder.

Beckner said investigators believe the shooter fled Colorado in a gray or silver Kia sedan with Colorado license plate 387-NOP. During his interaction with Libman, he was using the name Mark, but he may also use the name Chris.

Police have not positively identified him, but he is described as a white man in his 20s with brown hair, who is about 5 feet, 8 inches tall and 150 pounds. He may be with 26-year-old Kimberly Nicole Johnson, who is 5 feet, 3 inches tall with blonde hair, police said.

Police believe they left Colorado early this morning and were heading to Kansas or Missouri. Overland Park, Kan., is a likely destination, Beckner said.

He is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about his whereabouts should contact Boulder police at 303-441-3333 or call 911.
