You know what Power Rod, I followed BFL back in 2000 and like you said, it is a very good & balanced approach to getting lean and in pretty good condition. Best thing about BFL is that it can be incorporated as a lifestyle! Your not going to get burned out and fatigued from it after 8 weeks, you can do it for years.
However, the reason alot of bros on this board are dissing it is because it is not in-line with their goals.... most bros on this board are early 20's - early 30's and are more interested in packing on mass and lifting HEAVY weight... nothing wrong with that , but BFL is NOT that kind of routine, it advocates 1st thing AM cardio, Very small portion-pro/carb each meal , 6 x day and 1 min b/t weight lifting sets. Lift 3 x week and cardio 3 x week and Cheat day on Sunday.
I think you would be well served to adopt it for a good 12 weeks Power Rod, you would look and FEEL your best after 2 months into it.
