I mean look at Dexter Jackson for chris sakes! I think a few will agree he looks remarkable, a complete package despite not having the mass of some competitors..it's tricky what with colemans back but come on, something has got to give!
I think I once saw something that read colemans back is great so they cant ignore that. True, so then how can they ignore great mid-section and serratus?!
i think a smaller, more complete physique makes up for a lack of vascularity and size to a degree, like i say something has to give and you have to judge them on something. size is nessasary, maybe not make up for lack of symmetry but some variables. likewis a good back can't be ignored, but what if the mid-section is terrible? shouldnt the more complete guy win!? after all, dexter, for example, is not small, just less dense than coleman. i think this is tough.
i'd say in general the golden era ended in the late 80s early 90s, of course thats only my opinion
