I did 1400+ last time I was in Iraq for more than 4 reps.1500 isn't anything special.
I think the angle of the leg press machine is a huge factor in poundages you can handle.
In a fairness, the dude doing the presses is bigger than most of us.D
You think so?! Even if he is, it all should be taken into perspective. A lot of people around here don't do 'roids, ya know.....
Looks good to me. Dude's legs came down and touched his torso which is more than can be said for most leg presses I've seen done. Most people unlock the machine and still don't move it past the locked position..weird.
I guess, and I must add that your name makes me want to punch a kitten. Micheal Moore...what a douche. Not you, but the "director".D
not a single full rep, looks like he would struggle with half thnat weight for full reps, another delusionla lifter on legs.
Exactly !!In his case especifically, i would bet that 6 to 7 plates/side for 20 reps and above would destroy his legs (in a good way) much , much better than those 1/258 of a rep. Provided he could perform a full, complete deep rep (if he knows what that means regarding a leg press), a much lighter weight with high reps would gorge his legs with so much blood beyond belief.
u dont get real stimulation on half reps, and very little on the hams.i remember u having great wheels btw MM.
What a fcuking tool.-Hedge
come on! his legs don't come close to touching his torso. its still somewhat impressive but he would probably get better results going deeper with less weight and higher reps..the magazines always say his upperbody is impressive but he needs some wheelsi tell you who did crazy weight with deep deep reps on the leg press was mike morris
By that you mean Shaun Crump, hu, Hedge?!
Of course. You know I am one of your biggest supporters. At least when you sport those glasses.-Hedge
You are absolutely right. Same thing with hack squats. That's why I hate big poundage claims until I can see the kneecaps glued to the chin of the athlete who claims tons of weight leg press ability.Lee Haney used 5 or 6 plates/side for his leg presses, but his feet were planted on the bottom of the platform and his knees more than squashed his chest on the lowest part of the movement. His legs had tremenduous shape and development......please, don't start comparisons with Coleman's legs, Hulkster et al.
