good work. You should feel some benefits immediately, then progressively more around the 4 week mark then at 6months... You'll notice your sense of taste will be a big improvement.

Good job bro! You will really appreciate this in the long run. About 6 months(give or take) your lungs will feel much better. At 18 smoking about a pack a day I doubt you are coughing blood from smoking. I would go see a doc ASAP bro!

I quit smoking cold turkey on 12/12.  I did have 1 slip up at a party.  I'd been drinking and decided I needed a smoke.  It gave me a headache and I made up my mind that it wasn't worth it even more!  I feel better and I can run alot easier now.

Congratulations, nasty habit, don't go back, in a few months you'll start feeling a lot better, do cardio, get the gunk worked out

keep in mind that recent medical discussions argue that you can only really concider yourself as fully quitted if you havent touched a cigarette in at least 5 years, provided of course you have been a substantial smoker (i.e. not occasional cig at a club but a regular smoker)

I have had this problem whereby I'd quit, not touch a cig in 2 years and then one day start again...
