Tommy Morrison was in Rocky 5 and i do not understand why he doesn't sue the company's that test him and said he had aids. Hell he lost 10 years of what could have been big $$$$ pay fights

Nobody is dumb enough to believe that he did not have AIDS all the while. He probably has been taking enough meds to suppress HIV, a la Magic Johnson and our very own "Special Ed" here on Getbig.

Bullshit. Anyone that gets tested for HIV and gets a positive result has to go for a Western Blot test to verify the result. The reason they do this is because the first test is for antibodies for the virus and there are a lot of false positives. The followup will def. prove if you really have it.

You people think he didn't have a real follow up test? Of course he had follow up tests he was a multi million dollar elite athlete. Some people's bodies build antibioties and kick the disese at least into undetectible levels.

"West Virginia does not have mandatory blood testing for boxers"

why would someone trying to prove they were misdiagnosed fight in a state that doesnt blood test...hmmmmmm

It`s simple, really. Morrison got tired of doing the mud wrestling circuit in various gay bathhouses around the country and longed to return to boxing. So now he says "Just kidding! I never had AIDS! It was all some big misunderstanding!"

There has never been a documents case of someone getting HIV through a fight.

im just saying...if he says hes not hiv+, why would you fight in a state that doesnt check anyway...

I mean you are right. No one in their right mind would want to get in a fight with someone they know has it but, it is interesting that it is almost impossible to get the virus that way.

The premise as that since HIV / AIDS are blood born pathogens that if a boxer gets cut (which does happen frequently) the blood could splatter... perhaps landing in your eye or something of that nature... If that happens, due to the open areas around the face, it is quite possible you could catch HIV.

I find it difficult to believe that he didn't get 100 test done back in the day.

Most likely, he is on the cocktail and there are no traces... If that's the case, is it REALLY gone, or is it just the drugs.

If you get his blood in you, since you don't have the drugs, is it REALLY gone, or can it start to attack your white blood cells in your body and replicate.

I would find it difficult to take that chance.
