ive been watching the 2006 strongman on espn and he is probably the largest man on earth, 6-6 441 (not 341, 441!!!) and his arms are surely the biggest in the world probably approaching 30 inches, he absolutely dwarfs all the other strongmen. i acnt believe a human being could get so large.

that said hes also perhaps the dumbest man on earth, he put forth no effort whatsoever on events he could have dominated often simply because he couldnt figure out how they worked...lol Kaz was laying it on him on the overhead press, this moron lifted the 225 stone and quit because he couldnt figure out how to handle the 2nd rock despite watching all the competitors before him do it, kaz said hes looking at the rock like its some kind of complex geometry, ahhahaha

the guy has absolutely no heart or desire, he reminds me of a guy who is the biggest, strongest guy in his gym by far and has everybody kissing his ass telling him to do WSM but when he gets there and sees the size of everyone else he gets intimidated and freezes, if you've ever been to a pro level strongman meet in person you won't believe the size of these guys.

I've spoken to Dominic on a few occasions and he is timid and soft spoken. I think a little more Anadrol & Halotestin would help.

Oh... dude is beyond galactically huge. I would wager that nobody on the planet has a bigger delt-to-delt measurement. I swear his delts are 48"-50" tip-to-tip.

i couldnt even imagine seeing this mutant in real life, he absolutely dwarfs even guys like magnus and Kaz. what a waste though, no heart, no effort at all, he could dominate if he really wanted to.

Didn't he get second in '05? It was pretty sad to watch him this year, though. The guy didn't try at all. I'd feel pretty embarrassed for wasting a spot if I wasn't there to compete.

He was 3rd in 2005 finals.  That being said, he looked overwhelmed by the heat.  Doesn't appear to be the brightest fellow either.

Ahh yes, it was the American from Texas who got second if I recall correctly. Haven't seen it in a while.

But yeah, I agree about the heat comment. It can't be fun carrying 441 pounds in that weather with that humidity.

Filiou is a sight to behold for sure.

Great to have him competing in strongman, adds to the freak factor.

He's got plenty of strength to go the ultimate distance.

That being said, he'll never win any major title, he don't have the mental strength of a VerMagnusson, a Pudzi or a Savickas to do that.
