Unsophisticated novice like yourself could realize that spectacular things could be seen 14...140...140000 times and be appreciated each and every time...Road to sophistication could exactly be - appreciating excellence...for example (should I repeat this 14 more times?)
ah . . . I get it.
When I was a kid, my father decided that I should be the world's foremost expert on Jade (a precious stone). So he sent me to this monk who was supposed to be the world's foremost authority on jade.
So, everyday the monk would give me a piece of jade to hold, and then he would tell me to meditate. then he would send me home. So after a few weeks of doing this, I was like, "Hey man, when are you going to teach me about jade?" And he was like, "Little brother, you are learning about jade." So, I was like, "whatever, crazy old guy . . . keep wasting my time" (not out loud, of course).
But one day, he gave me a stone, and I instantly knew that something was wrong . . . that i was holding a false jade. you see, just by making me familiar with the real thing, he had taught me how to detect the false thing.
You remind me of that monk, Milos. A very wise man . . . teaching his disciples.
