Not the least bit impressed. Cannot imagine why this was considered worthy of posting on YOUTUBE. His "military" is more incline and he hardly did 1/2 reps.
I myself in the incline doing full range of motion reps with one second pause have done 5 reps with 315 before.
I never really went that heavy on the military press though, mostly 225 for reps and sets, shoulders are not designed to last very long when taxed with heavy poundages in that exercise. Some guys are better built to handle the heavy weights and can do this better than those lacking the right frame.

haha, sure you have.

I am always amazed at you guys who obviously have never trained in a real gym or seen what is possible. Maybe you think I was talking military press. I'm talking incline here. I could not post a video of this do to the fact that I do not have that kind of strength anymore. I do not really care if you beleive me or not. Just know that there are guys out there doing this shit on a daily basis in "real" gyms around the world who are also natural to boot. I was and have always been.
This guy posting his video of lame form and barley visable poundages and then using the argument that he was too worn out to do better form is bullshit. If he could do better than he would have posted such a video.
Again just because I do not have a video does not mean I was not able to do what I stated.
Go work out in a real gym and you will see guys doing what I stated and then some. My workout partner could do 365 for easy reps in the incline and maxed 405 where as I maxed out at 365 in the "Inlcine".

and out comes the truth. the two basic rules of lying on the internet: make sure you USED TO lift that much, and make sure everyone knows you had a friend stronger than you.  ::)

i've seen some damn big men handling 315+ on the incline, this big fucker named simon i used to lift with could do 365 for a double, but no way was it to his chest with a one second pause.

Let's see this could be fun. You may have just fired me up to get back in the shape I was just to shut your know-it-all-arm-chair-expert-ass-up!!
I weighed roughly 227 pounds was 27 years old and repped this shit on incline as easy as you sister was on prom night.
Now that I am 10 years older I would love to be that strong again. I will do this and as soon as I get there I will post a stupid video of this and you will see.

I have to agree with Eric2. 315 for a strict 5 on incline is strong but nowhere near a great lift. Either I've been around some of the strongest guys in world or you guys aren't in a very serious gym setting.

And doesn't anybody ever do a strict standing military press anymore? It's way harder than seated.

dude, 315 for five with a one-second pause on the chest on the incline? that's damn impressive. most gyms don't have too many people who can flat bench 315 for five touch and go, let alone inclined with a pause. no one's saying it's impossible, but it really does seem like the message boards are chock full of all of the strongest people on the internet.

you go into a gym and look around and a 315 bench sets you apart, 405 makes you a rarity. you hop online and EVERYONE is in that range. it's pure BS.

I know a lot of people on here "exaggerate" their lifts but that doesn't mean everybody does. I was just saying 315 is pretty believable from someone who might work out hard.

I know what you mean about the board though, it does get a little frustrating to hit a pretty impressive lift only to have about 90% of the people on here claim to have warmed up with it. But what can you do?

You just have to hope Sarcasm can expose the liars.
