ah yes, the phantom eye injury? photographed fine walking off the plane in helsinki 92, then later reported he hurt his eye ON the plane with a luggage strap.

Did they ever get to the bottom of that one?

that was a unfortunate incident in his pro career.

had he shown up to the 92 stage looking like he did that year at the Arnold Classic, he could have beaten Dorian that year, no question.

he could have been Mr. Olympia... $:-\$

Well, if you remember...the incident happened ON the plane! Something about a bag falling out of the upper compartment onto his face/eye. So he wouldnt have, technically, had the eye patch yet!

(God help me, why do I remember this? I mean, I think he's a cool BBer...but I was never a follower of his career.)
