There were many instances of Wayne being anything but "on the athletes side"...he fined and suspended pro's on a regular basis (ask Lee about that)...and didn't believe that Athletes deserved to be paid for making it to the Olympia. He denied entry to Andrulla Blanchette, the reighning champ...AT the Olympia on a technicality of paperwork....

Amazing how his stance, and perspective changed, when he found himself out of a job....

According to the Jon Hotton book Muscle, once Chick tried to join in a meeting and Demilia sneered at him and basically told him to fuck off. Maybe that explains his hatred of the PDI.

Personally i'm amazed Lee is happy to ride with a snake like Wayne, especially given their history.

Wayne also threatened athletes contracts when I tried to hold a meeting to see if a union was a viable option for the athlete's....and yes, your account is correct...Wayne wouldn't alow me to attend with Shawn.

Just curiosity, As the Athletes Rep what are the Standards of the PDI to be a PRO. Does a top 10 on the Trabuco Canyon Classic,CA Heavyweight gets me there?????????

The obvious solution would have been for you and Shawn and the other top athletes to simply break away. You all let Wayne and the Weiders wield to much power. People [like me] pay to see the top guys, not old fags like Weider and snakes like Wayne. YOU should be running a rival organistaion.

There wasn't enough support from the athletes to make any strides...guys like Lee were there, but too busy putting on protan to atend a meeting for an hour....all talk...when it came time for action...they were all walk.

I just think its a tragedy that pro bodybuilders compete for peanuts, literally in the case of the PDI. Mr Olympia should be a household name, or at the very least recognisable when he walks down the street [and not because he bounces at the local strip joint]

Forget about recruting IFBB PRO's. Try some top NPC regional guys. They will clearly destroy Big Sean Alan, Rhino and all the others...let's face it they can not even be a Top 10 on the Nationals.
