I am on this diet, and actually this morning for my first two meals i ate 3 lbs of steak... Is that too much protein to consume in two meals... I usually get about 6 meals in at about 14 ounces of chicken for each meal... but today i just felt like eating steak... I would also like to add that its my 4-5 day on this diet and my energy levels are just fine, i am neither weak or tired... I just take a nap before i hit the gym... Also i do cardio 5-6 times a week

Daves diet is working really well for me too.  Exactly as Bockhead described.  I had 2 shitty workouts then I was full steam ahead and as strong as ever, no real craving, tiredness or mood swings.  It is brilliant and I will use it all the way to the comp in October to get shredded.  I weigh 240lb and have 315g Pro, 145g Essential fats and I aim for zero carbs which means 40 - 50 sneak in when you have nuts.  When you aim for zero you you do let some creep in but this is OK, as long as there are no additional or intentional carbs.  I love it and will never diet another way again.

Daves version of low carbs kicks ass. The fat will counter act the lethargy that comes with low carbs. Dave and GH15 both advocate the low carb diets. My only ? is the stimulants. Dave is strongly against them and GH15 is all about ephedrine. So which is it? --Block?
Dave also pushes his 'non-stimulant' fatburners from his own SPECIES line of supplements so that's another reason why he is so anti-stimulant fat-burners.

He makes a point but the real point should be to NOT use them so often. I like to tell people if they are using ECA to use it before morning cardio and again 4-5 hours later only 5 days a week. 2 full days of NO ECA or anykind of stimulants like that. I also advise people to avoid all excess caffiene(coffee diet pop etc...) while using them.

I think 3lbs of steak is excessive.  3lbs of fish, different story.

I'm not really doing anyones diet, but I cut out the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and switched from tbone steak to ck breast and fish and lost 7 pds of fat last week.  20min cardio at 3am and 3pm hittin the weights.

Well, there is no way all 7lbs of your weightloss is bodyfat.  My guess is that over 90% of it was water.

I love you Elvin, but that is a horrible diet! :)

It will work, but there is no reason to limit your food choices.  Just get the same amount of calories and eat whatever you want.

Try it and you will be amazed.

The main difference between the ""Adonis principles " and  a conventional bodybuilding diet is  that  ,the purpose of the "Adonis Principles " is to lose weight ,spend more calories than you eat and you will lose weight, no matters what you eat, and I agree w / Adonis, is too easy ,this really  works ,, now  bodybuilders don't want to lose weight, they want to lose just fat, with minimun weight lost, one of Adonis discipules (tweeter) was proud because he lost 19 pounds in a month ,if I lose that much in a month I would assume something was seriously wrong w/my diet.  discuss

i tried that unlimited amount of proteins, lots of fat, and no carbs diet... i would get cut really quick without losing much mass.. but then around the 4th or 5th week i start to go flat and theres nothing i can do. i guess if i was already in good shape and only a month out from a contest, i'd use it. but for a guy who maintains his physique year round this is not a good way to do it.

sweet man, I think what Im going to do is have 2 "carb days a week" one mod and one high, then the other 5 days low carb, Ill sneak those 2 days in with a lil space in between. I look and feel much better after my carb up day on this diet, so I think 2 days will be good. Just enough to keep my muscles full.

But this may be the best ive ever looked, so im excited. 2008 here we come!

Yup... 4 days cycles and I'm seeing result like I wouldn't beleive it. First week was rough but I'm doing great now. No crash, no rushes at all.
