Not sure Where else to post this
« on: April 07, 2007, 09:09:59 AM »
i probably could've posted it in the nutrion area. but i wanted everybody's opinion. so i've run out of protein powder, now i don't get payed for another week and half. so between now and then whats something good for post workout nutrition. should i eat some eggs  or a meat filled sandwhich? i'm currently taking creatine two different types, luekic, gakic, and some glutamine. i'm also in a cutting diet phase. so what whole foods would be best  post-workout?

actually i picked all of it up for under 50 bucks. a bottle of gakic alone sells for more than that so i got a purdy good deal.

anything works man, it's not that complictaed, if you're fat like me avoid the simple sugars and just have some chicken, turkey, lean beef, eggs and maybe half cup of rice or half a potato, if you're lean have some grape juice or dextrose and any of the above mentioned foods.

I would stay with milk, eggs ,chicken and beef for your protien. All that other stuff your taking is most likely a total waste. Protien powders are a total rip off, I do not care what anyone says. Nothing beats real food for total assimulation and, absorption. Eat a boiled egg or 2 with a glass of milk and a banana.

stop buying gakic, lukic or what the fuck its called..also stop buying glutamin..then you could afford more protein.

also protein powders are not needed..just eat regular food. eat some fish and white rice or something, or mix some egg whites with rice ..100 things you could eat. if your a bodybuilder you should know.

If you waste money on MuscleTech products, you get what you've got coming.

The Beef always thought skim milk was an under valued source of inexpensive protein. 1 Liter ( costs 90 cents ) has no fat & 36 g of very high quality protein. A good buy.

Cans of tuna in water are the cheapest.  Empty a can into a blender of 1.5 cups of cold water, drink it, hate your life, and then realize you need to earn more to consume better tasting protein sources.
