I always seem to lose more fat on less meals/day so this does not surprise me

Probably has something to do with the smaller portions not stimulating the metabolism (enough) ?

ORIGINAL RESEARCH COMMUNICATION

A controlled trial of reduced meal frequency without caloric restriction in healthy, normal-weight, middle-aged adults1,2,3
Objective:A pilot study was conducted to establish the effects of a reduced-meal-frequency diet on health indicators in healthy, normal-weight adults.

Who wants to be a healthy, normal-weight, middle-aged adult?
I like being a huge young man, much bigger than normal.

you are hilarious ::) what are you in grade 6? hahaha and your obsession with Adonis is pathetic.... all 400 of your posts are about him, if you are not a gimmic you really need a life

You are always chasing man ass. Your filthy.

OT: One meal a day is nothing new, there's something called 'the warrior diet' and it's been out for years.

But who wants to be hungry all day and then eat 4000 calories in one sitting. That's no way to spend your days.

Would be due to your body having less carbs and having to burn fat for fuel. However, this diet would not work for optimal muscle building and maintenance.

I do not count meals per se`.

Usually I have 2 times that I eat.

My first time eating is around 300-600 calories or so.  Lately, I have been eating gazpacho for these calories.
My final time eating around 1100-1300 calories.  This is usually a recipe from a Food Network Chef, whatever I want, and ALWAYS 2-3 glasses of Red Wine.

For instance yesterday I had 2 bowls of Gazpacho,

Then before I went to bed, I had Bobby Flay`s Macaroni and Cheese Carbonara which contains Whole Milk, and 5 Different kinds of cheeses.  With this recipe, he beat the most recognized Macaroni and cheese chef in America.  This is THE BEST you can get.

With that, I also had a slice of Paula Deen`s, Better than Sex Cake. Very good!!!  I drank my 3 glasses of wine with this meal.

Indeed, arnold used to eat 3 a day and Serge used to eat cookies all day and then a pound of horse meat in the evening.

I rarely ever eat carbs so that changes nothing

Background:Although consumption of 3 meals/d is the most common pattern of eating in industrialized countries,

Interesting study but you have to wonder why so many industrialized countries are overweight.  Meal timing and un-natural patterned eating has been a proven cause.

Markus Ruhl in his video says that at the most he eats 8 meals with 50 grams of protein per meal, but that often he will combine two meals and have 100 grams in one sitting, (ex. 4 meals x 100 grams) and that he didn't feel it made a difference.

Also Nasser El Sonbaty said that on some days in the offseason he only gets 100 grams of protein in a day, and at times he might go 8 hours without food.

Seems like it's not unusual even among the pros to reduce their number of meals.

I am sure you will now try to put it in your articles since I raised your concisousness to this issue.

This seems to be the trend lately as I see alot of my pontifications showing up in many publications.

At least I am making your job easier.  Hopefully, you won`t put a spin on this like you do almost everything else.

Not true at all.

People are overweight only because they overconsume.  Nothing more.

i would think that if u eat only one meal a day, the body would store most of the energy from the food as fat, that it would be released slowly till next meal, so less meals u eat the more fat u store, the more fat u use as energy. Thats y u will prob get tired during parts of the day if u eat only one meal. Eating increases metabolism, i know i store more fat if i only eat once a day. adonis needs to stop trying to shove his principles down our throats, the flex diet is for pros who use a lot of juice, but we can eat 3 meal a day , normal food, and maybe couple of shakes and still grow well, and be lean.
