For cereal, apart from some of the worst plot devices this side of Romeo and Juliet, he didn't quite grasp the concept of past tense and complete sentences. Doesn't take a genius to kill someone.

What in the hell are you talking about? When you're the only one armed and the school is fucking around, no. I don't see why you're so impressed by this. The school didn't bother to warn students that he had already killed people, so it took them completely by surprise, and there wasn't much they could do since they had no weapons. If he was a genius he would have been a bit more clever and had an escape plan. Yes, he managed to kill 32 other people, but being good at what you do does not a genius make.

I don't even go to VT and I can't shake this slight depression over the loss of lives. I try to avoid watching the coverage but next thing I know I'm glued to CNN trying to get some answers as to why this all happened. I'm praying for the affected families and students....horrible stuff. I hope this incident ups university standards on actions appropriate to be taken against disturbed students to prevent this from happening again. The guy was messed up and evidently had been that way for all of his 3-4 college years and nothing significant was done to help him or protect students/faculty.

this shit happens every year,, just not at this level of course.. if you look at past events when people go crazy its always at this time of the year.. its called cabin fever. youve been sitting inside for months, your waiting for the nice weather to come, and when it doesnt it can make you crazy. weather really plays a huge role in our emotions, and it was snowing in va that day. sometimes it doesnt take much to turn a depressed psycho into a killer.
