alright, I know what I feel is the best thread and I'll post it later when I have more time.

I would say the old DC thread over on mayhem but that's pretty much gone nowadays, wether you agree with DC or not there was alot of great advice in general on that thread about training and eating.

McFarland had a GREAT thread about him getting ready to compete a few years ago, it was also on mayhem but it was really, really cool t watch a guy get into shape for the first time.

of course there's blinky's college chick thread over on the sex board but that's something totally different.

Jeff Willet's training journal is really cool over at the AST site but it's not really a discussion thread.

So what is it for you guys?

this is the best thread I've read in along time. Now I know alot of people think the guy was full of shit and that's fine but start reading the articles and interviews that start at about page 3, it's a great read. Was the guy 400lbs? I don't know. Could he move the weight he says? Again, I don't know. Is Matt Duval full of shit? I don't know but he's a pretty good writer and the way he describes the workouts gets me fired up to get to the gym all the time.

Trevor gives alot of cool tips on how to get you're protien in and even though I'm natural he talks openly about alot of steroid related issues which I found pretty fascinating.

cool interviews with Lee Priest, Milos and Demayo, the Demayo one is a litty cryptic knowing what eventually happened to him. The pics alone are inspiring as hell.

If you liked those threads you should've been around for the old 'bolex and trieda days...mcfarland was posting on there long before mayhem...I also remember albasouni posting over there; he was a twig at the time...
