Flex never beat anyone up, he's a big talker, i met that dude in person in 2000 and he is one of the most feminine sounding guys i've ever seen.

Rico was a national level NPC bodybuilder, who never made it pro as far as I know, trained at the Mecca, part of the Flex Wheeler/Cormier crowd.

yes i would have, the guy was not that big in person and he talked so gay you wouldn't believe it, my friend actually said it within earshot of him when we met him saying how gay he sounded, i could understand if the guy was 6'5" and 300 something pounds being intimidated but i'm not kidding you the guy was literally 5'8" and maybe 210 pounds when we met him.

In Flex's first 2 vids, he sounds okay, still has a lisp, but when he talks in Mass Construction (an off-season Flex showing his house) I get what you are saying...

I think it was his upbringing, which makes him "sensitive". And he overcompensates.

I never read the book... I wanted to, just to understand what makes him tick. I've read most of his interviews. And from what I gather, he acted like a a-hole for no reason other than the fact that he was "Flex Wheeler" and not Ken Wheeler. Ken Wheeler is the dude with the lisp (Clark Kent), but Flex Wheeler is the dude who will, "hit a dude with a tiger's paw".

Sad really.
