Reminds me of a funny story... When I was young, I grew up in a town where we weren't exposed to people of color too much, including hispanics and the such. AC Slater was considered to be Mexican by all of my friends. As we were growing up, at the age of 8 or so, we all thought A.C. Slater stood for Air Conditioner Slater and would blame it on the mexicans for being so damn stupid. Come to think about it, up to this day, I still have no clue what the A.C. stood for.

Any guesses?

Remember the very special episode where he confronts his dad about his heritage and his father tells him that he changed the family named away from its spanish to a more english sounding name to avoid racism. . It is horrible that I know this.
