The state of Proffesional bodybuilding is light years ahead of where it was 20 years ago...even taking into account cost of living, etc.

This isn't 5th grade T-ball where everyone gets to bat reguardless of how good they are...it's professional bodybuilding, and the best will always make more money, sign bigger contracts and prosper more.

Lee likes to spout off numbers,  but in reality...his own federation( PDI) probably had the same ratio of paying out...20%.

To those pro's who don't have contracts....keep making the improvements necessary, be it on the stage, with your skills as a spokesman, as a supplement rep, etc.

I remember reading one time Joe Weider used to encourage bodybuilders about finding ways to make a living outside of bodybuilding although he depended on them at the same time for his business.

Lee is right in regards that things could be better....but not accepting the fact that it hasn't grown & has gotten better over the years is ridiculous.

I can't think of a single organization or company (that is successful) that doesn't experience growing pains.

OK where to start, i noticed there are a lot of Pro getbiggers. And im very disturbed about their behavior and lack of brotherhood  toward non-pro's on this site. Have you ever seen a pro give us help about bodybuiding? They just come here, for their own purposes to chat with other pro's . Have you ever seen a pro on other board except on the qossip?

We might say hey were on a board with famous bodybuilders, but what worthy is it to have them around? A lot of us come here to have some fun and to learn about bodybuilding. Atleast wha tthe pro's can do is anwser a couple of questions from the fans. And than they ask themselves why do our ans bash us so much?

Bob seems to be the least rotten apple, he actually talks with us non-getbiggers, but still, the only time i heard him pass a tip, was about that its not good to eat raw eggs. And why did say that? So he can promote his eggwhites-company, how pathetic.

I don't agree...they differences are simple: no internet years ago, the only info was by way of the mags...It was no more accepted or not accepted by the mainstream, same indifference as today.

I'm going to agree with "The Coach" on this one... I think the industry has regressed... to the point it's even more 'nitch' than it was in the 80s and early 90s.

i disagree, milos, lee, wolf, chick have all given good advice on here numerous times, despite getting a hard time.

hell i hear even shawn advised a 17 year old once.............to take dbol to bulk up.
