Hey everyone. Sorry for the late reply, was in the gym pounding chest.
Yes I did get fat in the offseason Got up to 260 lbs (when I compete at 176 - 180 lbs). I will never get fat again, it just does not work. Well at least if you try to diet 70 lbs down in 18 weeks it does't work. I ended up losing a shit load of muscle try to make my show, and just did not look good, I got smoked in my last show in comparison to my past placings. Especially that the last time I did the whole fat offseason thing I was in college and it was 4 years ago. Now I actually have a full time job that requires me to travel and sometimes stay in the office pretty late, so dropping 70 lbs was not a fun experience. I guess you can say I learned my lesson.
Its been 1 month since my last show, and I've been eating clean and holding my weight at around 185 - 190 lbs. Don't plan on going heavier than that, my plan is to put on quality muscle slowly and not be in such a rush to watch the scale fly up. I plan on competing again next year and hopefully dieting down will be a lot easier when I only have 10 or 15 lbs to lose.
Adonis, thanks for posting these pictures. I know my fat pics are hilarious and I don't look like a bodybuilder at all in them, but I have them up on my site to be completely honest about what I am doing and how I look. You are right when you say, getting fat will ruin your physique, I have first hand experience with that. A quality bulk is something that works, but eating 2 foot long meat ball subs in one sitting is not something I plan to do again.
And as you all saw on my site - Yes I do have a wife, AND NO YOU WILL NOT GET NUDES!!!
Peace!
