ah yes, now i remember.  Bush administration decided that no photographs would be taken of the coffins.  And other administrations have allowed this.

WHy would Bush prevent it when every other president has allowed it?

Oh yeah?   Public opinion would still support this war, if we haven't caught the WHite House in so many lies over the last 3 years.  The media was GUNG HO for this war in the beginning, you know that.  Then, when we started "throwing it" to finish the pipeline after insurgents learned to blow up pieces of it, the media woke up.
