There's absolutely no fucking way gay men can be accepted on Team Patrick Bateman. Look at what he almost did to poor Louis in the bar's bathroom!!! Another high point of this movie that helps to explain why it's so brilliant, i.m.o, it's the soundtrack.

With both feet planted on the 80's music, American Psycho's soundtrack primes for the good taste in its selection.

I would like to throw in some of the music that plays along in the movie. I won't mention the obvious ones, where Patrick makes his commentaries about the songs and its artists, like Phil Colins.

Tell me about it.....It'll never be the same listening to Genesis/Collins after this movie. Sussudio and Into deep took a total new realm for me. I like them even more now.

Phil Collins should make a public statement acknowledging that he's now a new member on team Patrick Bateman. One thing is to be part of one of the most popular progressive music groups in pop history. Another thing is to have the honor to be mentioned and liked by someone as Pat Bateman.

The same goes to Huey Lewis and the News and Whitney dope Houston.
