Let me clear my throat and dissect the last of your lies:

1) Why are you lying and stating that I WAS ON THE MD PAYROLL?? That's like me saying you're a CAREER CRIMINAL. I was paid ONE TIME by MD. Last I checked, that hardly constitutes being "on payroll".

2) I was asked to drive up to Albany to "investigate" the alleged steroid-death story of a young man. I didn't believe it was a story that had "legs" or painted the industry in a positive light and I was unwilling to harass a mother (however misguided) about her son's death just days earlier.

3) I never tried to be a Valentino-wannabe, but now that you brought it up, your problems with him also resulted in No Bull losing talent.

4) I never slammed the door on anyone. You "whacked" me from No Bull Radio without so much as a courtesy call or thank you after I contributed to your show for the past six months WITHOUT COMPENSATION. Some people might consider trashtalking someone who helped promote your show to be a sign of either an ungrateful bastard or a petty fool. But then again, you did the same thing with Larry, so take your pick.

5) You're half-right about one thing. I don't like to be told what to do...by someone who's not paying my bills. I also don't like being told what's funny or not funny by a guy who has yet to produce a single laugh (other than his own) in six months on the air.

6) Finally, since you refuse to let a horse die gracefully, let me correct your false assertion that MD never asked me to propagate negative information about AMI/Weider and let me deliver the final blow and the real reason behind my fall-out with MD:

On Wednesday March 28, 2007, Steve Blechman specifically called and asked me to post negative financial information from AdAge.com and The Delaney Report (a subscriber-only marketing and advertising newsletter) both of which were emailed to me by his assistant. The Delaney Report article reads as follows:

TDR predicts publishing company American Media Inc. will be sold within the next 12 months. AMI publishes supermarket tabloids National Enquirer and Globe as well as magazines Star, Shape, etc. AMI, which has big investment firms Thomas H. Lee Partners and Evercore Partners as key investors, last week finally released its long-overdue reports on fiscal years ending in March, 2005, March, 2006. AMI reports a $160 million loss (includes a $147 million "impairment" charge) for its fiscal 2006 year on a drop in revenues to $496.2 million from $501.8 million. AMI now finds itself a target of a SEC investigation over its financial restatements. Situation comes as AMI has been on a cost-cutting drive during the past 18 months (20 staffers fired just last week) and has been fighting circulation problems at a number of its publications.  CEO David Pecker, who is promising more cost-cutting may be running out of options.

"(AMI) has been in a slow-motion implosion. There is no coherent strategy to turn the company around. The best thing that could happen now is to sell off (AMI's) parts at the best price," one investment banker said. Added the source, "you could sell the tabloids to someone who would be interested in 'milking' them for the money.  Selling the magazines as a group is the way to go." (Emphasis added)

So Blechman calls me and asks me to post this information on Getbig, which seems to contradict Palumbo's above quotes that "Steve doesn't believe in propagating negativity" and "Steve would never ask [Special Ed] to sabotage anyone." I tell him that I am not on MD payroll and that I have no reason to post negative information about AMI/Weider and that fanning the flames of the Weider/MD feud serves nobody's interests. Finally, I tell him that I have no desire to bring further negative attention upon myself by fighting his battles.

He says, "Just forget it." And then, after having called me regularly for the past few weeks, HE NEVER CALLED ME AGAIN, FAILED TO RETURN ALL OF MY CALLS, and STOPPED RESPONDING TO MY EMAILS.

So, in a nutshell, Steve asked me to do something dishonorable and when I refused, I became persona non grata at MD. I asked about 10 times if they wanted me to cover the NY Pro show and didn't receive ANY REPLY until I told them I had an offer from another company, at which point they low-balled me. At that point I realized we were done doing business together.

Are you happy now, David? Because my money says The BOSS won't be happy when he wakes up tomorrow and finds out that your big mouth of lies resulted in THE TRUTH BEING TOLD. Who knows, maybe next time it's your turn to get "whacked"...

You really do need to get out more.  I am a father of 4 daughters.  They all compete in gymnastics and competitive cheerleading.  I saw the routine and saw the one you posted here of the 16 year old from ATL (fyi this is from last years Teen Nationals) and there was certainly nothing provactive about the routine nor were the costumes.
