You should be in LA now, and making the rounds at the cattle calls for MTV's reality shows and date shows to get exposure, and then get some good advice from someone in LA who has been around, and does not have his head up his ass; not an easy find in LA. But they can be found.

Potentially you have all the things now to get on TV and then movies, and not some wierdo alien tin foil costume film in the woods crap. You deserve better, and you have the tools, and you should go for it.

Fuck em DW. I got offered the same deal 9 months back for a grand in a j/o film in LA. I would've done it ($1000 for 2 days!) but I was married at the time. Take what you can get at this point. Experience never hurts.

No need to join SAG. WHo is the guy who told you this. Unless he is the director or producer or maybe the casting agent don't get to excited. Is this film a union film. It doesn't sound like it. Unless you are seen by the director or casting people don't count on any lines. That business doesn't work that way. And if you are going to start doing this business you better start to not get excited over stuff like this. Cause you will be in for a rude awakening. This industry is notorious for letting you down. Until you have signed the dotted line it is all a bunch of talk. It's great you may have the chance to do something but don't get excited yet. And even if you work you still might not make the final cut.

no offense to DW but the guy is 6'6....On screen that translates to a giant...He will look 7 feet on screen...Very limited in what can be done on screen...esp since most of hollywood are almost midgets...
