For me Arnold always looked healthy. Not to take away from Jay, who I like, but Arnold looks like someone if you were didicated you could work to be like. Not that anybody could be arnold but he always seemed normal if that makes sense.

how can you even say that jay is a better bber than arnold........if arnold would have competed from 76-82 he would have 13 mr. olympia titles........and would have set higher standards for bbing. Arnold is what bodybuilding should be. Jay is whats wrong with it. His blood pressure is probably 2000 over 1000. It's fucking ridiculous what this thing we call bodybuilding has come to. I like Jay because he does what he has to do to be Mr. Olympia but to me its not bodybuilding.

Agree, he looks bloated and he's short, it looks like everything he does keeps him in pain and suffering.

Arnold was amazing he is probably my second favorite bber, but he has no legs, his back was a joke, yes he had small waist but no abs. Jay has all those things, and yes arnolds physique was more physically pleasing but jay has the better bber physique

I agrre that arnolds physique was more pleasing to the eye, but jay is overall better because he is the total package. BB is not about having a few great bodyparts, having good everything, including back, legs, abs,etc. Arnold himself would tell you that jays physique is better than his

You know, I've changed my mind. Jay IS the man! I'm going to the beach this weekend and I could only imagine the ridicule I'd get if I was to hit the sand with Arnie's physique. Everybody would think I was a loser for not having the streamlined look of today's "champion's".

You'd get much the same reaction with Arnold's physique as you would with that of Jay Cutler. Most people would think you're way too big, attribute virtually all of your development to steroids, and you'd hear more than your fair share of "Ewwww, That's GROSS!!!" from some of the women there.

No, what I'm talking about is the degeneration of BBing. Moving away from an attainable, asthetic look, to a bloated, unhealthy look that only about .25% of the population find appealing. MCWAY I do agree that most people would attribute it to steroids, but disagree that most women would find it unattractive. I would think that Arnie would get MUCHO play with that physique.

That's due, in part, to Arnold's personality. A stark reminded of just what average folks think of Arnold's physique occured about a week ago. I bought the issue of IronMan with Arnold on the cover, because it was one of the few I've seen with him in color, instead of black-and-white.

As I'm waiting at the register, the cashier rings up my things. Upon seeing the cover of the magazine, she gives an unsolicited opinion, "Oh, That's nasty!!!" in reference to Schwarzenegger's physique. Now, this is Arnold here, not Jay Cutler, Markus Ruhl, or Ronnie Coleman.

That's funny you mention that 'cause I too got an 'unsolicited comment'. When I bought my copy, the girl at the register said, "Wow! That's Arnold Schwarzenegger? What happened to him?"
