Has anyone ever made a (positive?) big life decision which only affected their own life?

I don't think it's possible unless you live on a secluded island in the middle of noplace.

No man (or woman) is an island unto himself.  You can't help upsetting other people . . . but you can try to make sure it's for the right reasons.

Yes...college. It was a major decision to further educate myself. I didn't HAVE to...and I had no one to support then. But then again..it is a major factor in just how I can support a family currently.

ok thanks, so far so good.  i'd forgotten that when I didn't go to university and got a job instead it was a major factor.

I'm still thinking about for my life only decisions.  everyone goes to school.

I only ever do things for the right reasons.  what is upsetting is that other people get jealous or something...

Is it the way i take 3 big bites with my perfect teeth out of that sugary donut and then go back and take 5 little bites and then when I'm left with the hole I swallow it.  It's not my fault,  I just piss people off.  I eat funny.

Ummm, no, a donut hole is just that...the "hole or "inside" portion of the regular donut that is cut out prior to cooking.  It's also called a Munchkin (from Dunkin Donuts).
