yes, just do less than normal at a very slow rate.

im assuming if u are doing only 1000 calories u are very fat. if that is the case, its ok.
'
if u are not very fat, i wouldnt consume only 1000 cals

Nope. I wouldn't.

if he is obese i would say yes.

but either way its unhealthy to eat only 1000 cals. 1,300-1,500 cals is the minimum for healthy functions of the body and supporting lean tissue maintenance

absolutly not !  ???
if he is very fat he could cut on even 3000 calories

simple logic, as you get lighter you drop the calories

cardio for fatloss is about heartrate, not speed.

I think he is saying to go at a slow rate to keep your heart rate lower so your not buring to much lean tissue.

If the guy is fcked in the head and is only going to eat 1000 cals no matter what advice he gets...Then tell him to eat his 1000 cals and do zero cardio...He will probably just end up in the end quitting the diet or being skinny fat...

At the very least tell him if he does just 1000 cals, then to do cardio/walking/ whatever but eat the amount of cals over the 1000 that he burnt doing cardio( that will help his joints/heart ect)

So if he is eating just 1000 cals but is doing cardio and burns 200 cals in cardio...Then eat an extra 200 for the cardio he burnt...

Trust me...He won't be eating 1000 cals for long...Unless of course he is using meth/coke ect...If he is a bucket of shit and just wants to lose weight...1000cals a day for sure will do it..But it will be torcher..Their are better ways...

well maybe myself, david palumbo and the research journals are wrong.

quick heart rate is great for those into overall fitness BUT NOT MAXIMUM MUSCLE RETAINING. because the quick heartrate burns fat for hours after the cardio session, whereas as slow cardio burns more fat during the exercise but no more fat after the session. (eg- intense cardio boosts ur metabolism for hours after the session some say days, slow cardio does not) - so overall more FAT is burned by quick cardio as a result of the exercise - not during but overall including the metabolism boost after the exercise is finish..

However, u burn muscle/protein when doing the higher intensity cardio. for a bodybuilder doing a show, whats the best pay off? i think retaining the muscle, while still burning significant fat.

do u ever see ROnnie coleman sprinting in his training or going high intensity cardio, i also dont think jay cutler does higher intensity cardio either (i am sure they dont, but maybe someone else knows that they do).

  • I am Fat and Bulking,Im sensitive about my weight.
The Nazis were only feeding the Jews in there ballistic missile tests in 1945, 800 calories a day just to survive.
1000 calories with cardio you will lose weight but also all the muscle that comes along with it.

I know Skip La Cour use to do high intensity cardio when preparing for a show and he use to come in shredded to the bone.

Energy expenditure during cardio is very misunderstood. What is even more misunderstood is energy expenditure after cardio as a result of the cardio. When doing cardio, the primary energy source your body uses is glycogen. Your body uses very little, if any, fat stores for energy during cardio. Even if you haven't eaten food for several hours your body still uses glycogen as its primary energy source. You must let go of the wrong assumption that you are actually burning fat while you are doing cardio. You are not!

When you increase your resting metabolic rate, you increase your body's overall fat burning capabilities - you make your body much more efficient at burning body fat.
