funny thing is I dont see any pros who are on steroids using that kind of poundage on dvd and these are guys at their prime age.

Why do mags print these exaggerated numbers?

I suppose there's a target slice of their reader base who cuts out the article and pastes it over their home Weider bench and says "I'm 16 and I can bench 115 and squat 75. That means by next year, if I follow this routine and take these supplements, I can move that up to a 500 bench and a 800 squat".

After reading the special on Kai Green, I have much more respect for him. The guy never gave up on his dream and didn't have the financial means to do the same stuff all the other guys where ~~using~~ doing. Now that he got a legitimate sponsor he finally won his first show. Sure he did some shady things but that was a means to an end. I doubt he wants to go back to being a mimbo any time soon.

Oh and with all of his improvements I don't doubt that he is a strong mofo nowadays.
